Vegas Shiv Tune!!!!
1. jgannonloans
2. esplegend 3. Silverstate 4. lvwirelessguy 5. 335i= Ok heres the deal i spoke w Calvin at Vishnu and we can schedule Shiv to come out here to Vegas intsall and tune the Exeds on a dyno, (must be a chassis dyno ie. dyno dynamics, dynojet, mustang etc.) not really sure the difference between them all so if somone knows of one in town hook it up. Its $1300 for the Xede and the tune, and we have a to whack up half of Shivs airfare and hotel between all of us. So heres my take, schedule for a weekend in January, lets say 12-14th, depending on how long he may want to stay in Vegas??? so estimate 11-14th....roundrip ticket $200. Hook up a hotel on the strip, any connections?????? estimated $300. So $500 bt 5 maybe more an extra $100 a person total $1400 or so.....for 335i that is as fast as an M5......no brainer. Not too sure about dyno time but prob another $500 or so so add another $100 each just thought of that. $1500 total isnt bad at all, it beets driving 10hrs to Nor Cal and spending that yourself to stay up there. Everyone who's in please call Calvin at Vishnu, they require a 20% deposit so $260. lets git r dun |

i will ask about the wideband dynos and i wasn't aware of us having to split the airfare, hotel stay and pay for the dyno time either, was told that today, i still think its a good deal. please post if you are in or not, if we don't have 5 he may not come?

i want the custom tune due to the fact that i am doing a 3'' turbo back exhaust and i also want a 93 and 100oct program, i think that i could hit 400whp w 100oct program and exhaust, we'll see, but he can get an extra 8-10whp by custom tuning it he said, its worth it to me......0% apr cards are the best i am the king of leveraging, let me know if you are out so i can let them know

I was just reviewing his site as well. http://www.vishnutuning.com/bmw_subzero.htm
Theoretically, for $1,300 from the site, he sends it in the mail and we plug-and-play, right? Don't worry, I'm not saying I'm out yet. Forgive my ignorance, but what is the benefit to use the dyno and have Shiv come to Vegas and install it himself? Mind you, I am on a lease and only want the Xede, no ehaust, no 100 oct programs, just some good wholesome fun that won't get me into trouble with my warranty or the dealership. What do you guys think? Am I being a puss? I also agree with '335=:' in that the experience of meeting Shiv and being around for the tune would be memorbale to say the least. Also, +1 on having additional expenses other than the $1,300. News to me at this moment. The money is not the real issue though. Value is the bigger question. I could order the Xede right now and be running 4.5's by Thursday morning if so desired, right? All at $1,300 (plus tax and shipping). Yes, to say I am impulsive and need instant gratification would be an understatement. |
