yea we actually confirmed it in another thread relating to white led turn signals. I've always thought they were illegal until I saw it on the DMV site. Don't know whether it has always been legal or has been changed recently. I just don't want a cop pulling me over and saying that they are illegal when really they aren't and instead he just gives me a ticket for no front plate and tints lol.

I think people that get pulled over for white turn signals are from the white tail lights. Not the front white turn signals.

24953. (a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear.

according to section (b). your sidemarkers lights have to be amber though.

Well, I cant do anything with the side marker anyway, the only thing that bothers me is the egg yolks in the front head lights

yea, it's always been legal for the front. but at that same time, you're making yourself standout to the authorities imho.

if you're worried about the egg yolks up front, just get the silver coated bulbs from the dealer. it's the same ones used in the black line tail's turn signals. or, you can always take some high temp silver spray paint and put on a very light coat on the amber bulbs. does the same thing really.

I got pulled over in my previous car that had white turn signals and the cop gave me shit for em, but he didn't write me up for them.

I'm leaving them amber on my bimmer.
Less attention and less chance some idiot gets confused from the color and hits me or something stupid like that.

It's always been legal. Just need to have some sort of orange reflectors in the front though.

^^ actually no car is required to have side marker lights so technially they can be any damn color you want. As long as it isn't pure red or blue.
