Due to my highly decorated licence at the moment, (9 points - don't ask I had a very unlucky start to the year!!!) and the fact it doesnt go down to 6 until next january! Oh and I also do 20,000 plus a year, I need some form of safety net.

There are loads of these S/H on ebay, are they any good, which one do I go for?

not sure what happend there. Have a look at the connect professional, it's online all the time so you get latest camera info.

I have one but its not going to help with a mobile speed trap. It has no radar/laser detection built in.

You really need a laser jammer but that only works if you drive the same car all the time.

Dont they notify of mobile sites?

If someone else has reported it - then you get notified. But it doesn't actively detect.

The BEST solution is one of these PLUS a laser pro park kit. The laser pro park is the best detector on the market and can also be "tweeked" to be more than a detector, with a stealth cut off etc etc so they can't prove anything. Your risk to run that one obviously.. But just as a detector its still a fab piece of kit...

Why not try the tomtom live system?
It's the same idea but has the benefits of navigation and traffic as well as google searching etc as it has a built in SIM.
