▀▄ eas | Arqray - Race Exhaust Systems - E85/E86 Z4/ Z4M [Western Regional Dealer]
As your Authorized Arqray regional dealer, we are pleased to announce the US Spec Race Exhaust Systems for the E85/E86 Z4M platform.
Arqray focuses on the performance, quality and sound of all their exhaust systems. A feature of every Arqray exhaust system is the tube diameter is carefully selected for each and every car depending on the engine's displacement and characteristics. This allows an increase in performance and sound while remaining true to the OEM smoothness that BMW excels at. Arqray torque and power curves are generally flatter and more linear than other exhaust systems. Each exhaust is also tuned to free up the engine's sound while still letting the engine's characteristics shine through. Every step of manufacturing, testing and development is done at Arqray's Japanese factory to ensure the highest level of quality control. We are an authorized US importer for Arqray. All units are US spec for a deeper tone rather than JDM spec. The following configurations are available: -Full Stainless Steel -Stainless Steel with Titanium Tips -Stainless Steel with Titanium Torched Tips -Full Titanium -Full Titanium with Torched Tips Features -US race spec -High quality stainless steel or titanium construction -Superb OEM fit -Superb TIG welds -Increased power and torque -Decreased weight -Custom tuned exhaust note Models Supported 2002-2008 e85 Z4 2.5i 2006+ e85 Z4M Coupe & Roadster Arqray - Race Exhaust System - e85 Z4 2.5i Arqray - Race Exhaust System - e85 Z4M Let me know what you guys think, We would love to hear your opinions on these parts! Systems are about equal in volume, which can be increased with midpipe replacement/resonator removal.

yes, mufflers only. i'm relatively sensitive to exhaust drones, and i'd say the mufflers only, on a scale of 1-10, 1 being least and 10 being a straight 3inch turboback, i'd give the exhaust drone a 2. again, this is mufflers only, not sure if the droning will change, (most likely?) with other piping modifications (sec 1, x pipe, etc) |

Yes-sir, thanks for the input. I may have to consider this system since it seem like one of a very limited few with minimal drone.
Why is it only the most expensive systems that have the least amount of drone, or put differently, the best control of drone issues? |

I'll definitely pay for a good sound with NO drone.
I asked because there seem to be a few $$$ exhausts out there that do drone - SS with powerloop aside - so yeah, if this is supposedly like that system then I have no big issue with the cost. If fact, I'd probably consider this one more because it seems to be a less common product and I like exclusivity - just not droning, no matter what... thanks! |

David-
What's the outside diameter of the tips? ** Edit - figured it out - 76mm Different question, have you heard this system in person and I assume fitment is pretty spot on? Last edited by onebluemcm; 05-27-2010 at 11:37 AM.. |

I have not heard the Z4M system in person, but the E9X M3 system's fitment is spot on and sounds great
