But any dyno tuning will have to be done on an all wheel drive dyno instead of the more popular 2wd dyno.

Correct. And the numbers will be lower as well due to the added driveline loss.

will bmw's drivetrain be able to hold the extra power
my understanding was that its pulled from the X3 which has less power

pros - better in the wet or snow, compensates for lack of lsd
cons - heavier, more drivetrane loss

on the launch it should, granted i think drivetrain loss and wieght will alow the RWD car to pass later on, but that could take a while. as for the curves, again im not so sure, it would be damn interesting

Probably not b/c of the higher drivetrain loss with the all-wheel drive, although putting all that new HP and TQ to all 4 wheels would be nice.

you forgot "launches like a motherfucking rocket"

exept i think the bmws only activates when its needed and sends most power to the rear wheels :/
