Lifters? Cylinder Heads?
My 2007 328i coupe has been at dealership for one week now after I noticed strange engine noises, that sounded much like a tractor. Took it to dealership and after four days they replaced the lifters and said that the problem was resolved, I went to go pickup my car and when the attendant brings it up I STILL hear the same noise. The service notes on the invoice clearly stated that the vehicle was driven and no noise was heard. Last I spoke with them, they were replacing the cylinder head.
Anyone run into this?
