Semi-DIY N52 Quad Exhaust Write Up

So I finally decided to put a muffler back up since I'm putting on high flow cats, and am worried about the loss of back pressure with a Muffler/ Resonator/ Cats delete. Now I already have deleted the resonator by replacing it with a self fabricated y-pipe, and I will not be changing that.

Parts:
Hooker Headers SS 2.5" single inlet to dual 3" outlets (21433HKR)
x2 total of $120 shipped from Tennessee Speed

Magnaflow Muffler 2.5" inlet/ dual 2" outlet
$91 from Jeg's

For now I will just cut the rear bumper to fit the right tips, no biggy. I'll get a fancy M-tech rear bumper w/ diffuser later down the road.

I just ordered the parts tonight, but once I get them I'll go ahead and start the install, hopefully by Friday, especially since I have Fridays off

Make sure that you do not use cheap tips, members have reported a whistling noise at higher rpms, no not a "cool turbo noise" but a loud and obnoxious whistle. So that's why I choose Hooker Headers for my exhaust tips, these things rock, they look sexy, top-notch quality, and are straight forward and simple (No double wall, or other fanciness).

Huge props to member, sorost, for his quad set up. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=369869
