PLEASE HELP: Is non-certified BMW body shop's work reliable?

Hi guys! I got into a car accident over the weekend. And right now I'm torn between bringing my car to a friend's referred body shop and a certified BMW body shop - Pride Autobody Shop. Pride is referred by a BMW dealer, the other one is by a friend. Is a certified BMW body shop better than just any regular bodyshop? With a friend's body shop, they will give me a rental car since I don't have rental coverage in my insurance. What does it mean by BMW certified body shop? Please let me know, because I need to decide tonight. Thank you.
