Arrow F13 6-series convertible spotted top down for first time

We bring you the first ever sighting of the upcoming F13 6-series convertible with its top down. The shape revealed with the top down is of a sleek and well proportioned convertible, not easily pulled off with a convertible of this size. What is not telling yet however, is whether the top is a folding hardtop or a traditional canvas top. The extra cut lines on the trunk may indicate a canvas top to some, but may simply be indicative of split trunk access (for when top is retracted).

Release dates and specifics are still up in the air, but its a sure bet that at least the engine line-up will be a replication of what is available on the F10 5-Series, including a twin turbo V8. Rumors still float around to this day about new tri-turbo diesel engine that would make its debut on this car.

I hear you. But, I'm still doubtful about a folding hardtop. Some things just don't make sense if it's a hardtop (but so do some others for a soft top).

Best regards,

The lines of the car look OK. I wish someone would remove the camo.

Looks definetly like an hardtop ... trunk lines are like the e93 and the gigantic windscreen says also folding hardtop.

I am willing to bet that it is a soft top, they will keep 6 series as a high end convertible, meant for the "older" crowd and those guys want a soft top because its not their daily driver. I am confident in this!

Windows up!? Lame...

Also, why does this thing have the same plastic POS windscreen that I can get for my 1er? The older 6 was much better with the verticle rear window...its what you expect on a 100K car

It looks like it is a soft top, as it looks like my previous 650 cabrio from where the top sits on top. It looks like it has a 5 series front end?? Seems like them are starting to look the same with the new designs coming out.

Look closer, the verticle rear window is there (specifically the slot where it rolls up from). That plastic POS windscreen was available for the last gen 6 series too.

Best regards,
