Picking up my first BMW ever tomorrow!!!!!(PICS ADDED)

as the title says, if all goes as planned I will be picking up my first BMW ever! I'm getting a CPO 07 335XI MT(also my first stick car) sedan with the sports, premium, navigation, and cold weather package. black saphire metallic with black dakota leather and aluminum brushed trim. Currently, the car has just about 31K miles on it. I'm purchasing it for 31K flat. Thoughts on this price would be awesome to hear as I think I found myself a pretty fair deal, or at least im hoping so. I'm extremely excited with less than 24hrs to go. I'll be sure to post pics up asap.

That's a good price for a CPO'd 07 335xi w/ good miles.

Congrats!

Comparison: I bought my 2007 a couple of days ago for 27k same options but with step and paddles. 42k on the odometer. Non-Cpo but I financed a warranty.

Now I think how good of a deal I got. I bought my CPO 07 JB e90 335i from Crevier here in OC for $33.6k. I bought it on December of 2009. car had 15.5k miles AT W/Paddles(sport package) and everything except cold weather package.

OP, great car man congrats.

Hey Turk! As others have said, good luck sleeping tonight! I took delivery of my 335i last week and I didn't sleep a wink. Totally worth it though, I have been loving every minute of drive time I get with it!

The Galves trade-in (wholesale) value of a 2007 E90 335xi with 6MT, Sport Package, Leather Trim, Navigation, and 31k miles is:

$24,300
+ $1,500 (estimate) to recondition the vehicle.
+ $2,000 (estimate) for the 6yr/100k mile BMW CPO warranty.
+ dealer overhead.
+ dealer profit.
= $ ________

At that $31,000 sale price, the dealer is making at least 12% profit/overhead on the car (more if my reconditioning and CPO estimates are too high).

well the price negotiating was done over the phone since the car is located about 3 1/2hrs away from me. u think i would be able to get it down even more? the car was listed as 35,995 so they went down a decent amount. would 29k be pushing it?

31k out the door or is that before taxes and other fees?

Do me a huge favor... Whenever you talk to a dealer about price.. Always ask what the out the door price is after all taxes and fees and negotiate based on that. They will run circles around you when u start talking about MSRP and other line items. Don't get caught up when the paperwork comes out because they will change the numbers on you.

Don't include financing charges with the out the door price. Deal with that when the finance guy comes around

Congrats. I just bought my first one as well last week. An 07 335i. So far I'm blown away. You'll love it!

Side Note: Why are the first 2 questions people ask when you drive to work in your new BMW. What year is it? and How much did you pay?

I actually had some people get upset because I wouldn't tell them what I paid...Incredible
