Res delete or no?

I have the top speed pro 1 muffler and I absolutely love it. However, I would like a little bit more sound from it. I think. I am not sure whether I do or not. Should I delete the res? would this make it just obnoxiously loud? or would it sound a bit more aggressive on start up and WOT?

I am nervous to do it as I might not like it, and then its money down the drain... thoughts?

Personally, I'm not a fan of the resonator delete. I have the muffler delete on my car and I'm happy with it. I've heard some RD clips on youtube and it sounds just plain obnoxiously loud.

Remember....you have a BMW, not a muscle car.

i wouldn't delete it either the sound inside the cabin is going to kill, i suggest you just try to find a way to enjoy the sound....

I had the top speed muffler with and without the res. Take the res off. It sounds much better, and I experienced no drone.

You guys don't know where secondary cats are???
Don't delete them. Get magnaflow high flow cats instead. Do a search there are threads.

A bumper sticker will void your warranty if your specific dealer says so. Go to the region sections and find out who the mod friendly dealers are.

In Atlanta United BMW Roswell and BMW of South Atlanta are 100% mod friendly, where other dealers will freak at anything.

Primary cat deletes gives you real gains. Also I don't recommend running a muffler delete with cat deletes, considerate loss of pressure.

Plus you really need a dyno tune to take advantage of the cat delete.

They are before the res when the exhaust is two pipes. They are right when exhaust bends. Idk about the gains by removing them though.

It does make the gas smell very strong. I have never heard or seen any gains.
