Fun times with CA -> Car Washing!
So I'm washing my car yesterday for the first time... I've got my keys in my pocket and my car keeps locking and unlocking when I spray the car near the driver and passenger door handles.
Too funny. |

For future reference, you can just throw the fob on the seat or stick it in the ignition slot to prevent it.

I've had similar experience but with my phone connected via bluetooth and my car keeps trying to answer while it's in the car wash. Also accidentally answered a call while running at the track once.

You should put a BMW logo on a squirt gun, and if you're with a particularly gullible friend, unlock your car with that and say that's how you have to do it. It's secure because most people don't carry squirt guns.

This was a post I put up 5 months ago. I leave it in the garage and have no more issues. I would leave it int he car but I always fear my doors locking for some reason.

Well, with my luck, I wash it Saturday having not really driven it since Friday. Put it in the garage for the rest of Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I take it out today to drive to the office and what happens after a perfectly beautiful and dry weekend? It rains. Duh. At least now I know I have a good base coat of wax and the water is beading nicely.
