Previous Owner?
Is there any way to find out or has a way to find out who the previous owner of a car was? I bought a used car for the family and im hoping it was driven by a grandma because im trying to keep it for a while. I was going to ask for the carfax but 1) Its against the rules 2) Im sure carfax doesnt give out the name of the previous owner.
Thank you

Maybe don't buy a used car if you're that paranoid about the previous owner?
This is exactly the reason why I'll never buy a used //M. The chance of grandma or gramps buying one of these has to be about 0.000001%. If it's CPO'ed I wouldn't even worry about it. I'm going to go ahead and guess that they don't give out personal info of who owned it.... Just the accident report (if there is one) and if the dealer had it serviced there, the service records.

You've got to run Autocheck. It often picks up accidents that Carfax misses. If I could only use one service, it would be Autocheck.

Grandma doesn't bother to change her oil, ever, since grandpa died, drives over curbs and hits mailboxes.

My previous owner was the wife of a doctor. She traded it in for a Cayenne

if you have a flux capacitor you could go back in time and see how it was driven, but realistically you wont know how it was driven man

Get the service records from the dealer. Show the service department your bill of sale. It usually shows the name and address of the former owner.

I agree with this. Try to get a flux capacitor if possible.
