2011 335i convertible vs 2011 bmw z4 30i or 35i
Hi I am deciding on buying either a 2011 335i convertible or the 2011 z4 30i. I am in the middle east and I was not able to drive the 2011 335i convertible and wanted to see if there is anyone out there that did and can provide me some feed back in terms of handling and feeling of it all in comparison with the 2009-2011 z4 30i. thanks in advance.

the z4 handles better and drives more sportier
the 335i has more room yet still drives great I'd take the Z4 if I didn't need the extra seats

x1 if I wanted a convertible I would definitely go with the Z4! I have not driven the new Z4, however I have driven the previous gen Z4 and I really love the way it drives so I can only imagine the new one is even better. I also like the sportiness of a two seater.

If you were getting the Z4 with the upgraded motor I would get that. Since your not get the 335i

thanks guys, I guess its really a life decision. I am 31 and not married so i am kinda in this middle ground where if I Seattle down in a few years, I don't think the z4 will be a good car for it, but I am wondering if the 335i convertible will be a good middle ground as its still sporty but have the seating. But, I really really am not over the look and feel of the new z4. so I definitely have internal conflicts within. Its almost as if my instinct tells me the 335i convertible is what I need (comparatively speaking), but the z4 is really what I want.

I just noticed that you said Z4 30 why not the 35? If you are comparing a 335i to the Z4 it should be the Z4 35. I say if you really want the Z4 then go for that. In a few years if you need to you can trade it for a wagon.

in a couple of years.. get the z4, enjoy it, and once you settle down, either sell it and get something with more seats, or keep it and get something with more seats
and you HAVE to get the N54 no question
