anyone lock in a deal on ED yet for a new F10?

I'm considering a 550, offered my dealer $1000 over invoice and he hemmed and hawed, said he'd get back to me. I'm in no rush. Thoughts?

I'd say that's pretty good considering we're not even at the launch date. Make sure he isn't sticking it to you some where else on the purchase order.

I am having a lot of trouble securing a deal on an ED F10. The dealers in town won't bargain at all on the price and I was basically told my business wasn't needed. A couple of dealers tried to convince me that the MSRP discount on ED was the discounted price (so I would be paying ED suggested retail price). I have a couple of promising leads now, so hopefully will close the deal on an F10 soon (planning a fall ED on an F10 Xdrive). Same thing happened when I bought my E46 3 series through ED but eventually found a reasonable place to buy. As for the OP, I think $1000 over invoice would be a fair price. Good luck!

Currently, my dealer wants $1500 over ED invoice for the F10 535i. Car is on order, but since I am a good customer, no deposit was required. The salesperson only makes about $300 on the deal, since there are lots of expenses for a dealership. MSRP is $66750, EDMSRP $63280, My order is $59650 including the $1500.

You guys on the mainland have an advantage, i.e., if you live in L.A. you could order from a Bay Area dealer if the deal is better. My understanding is under the ED program, the car must be shipped back to the ordering dealer. Here in Hawaii we are basically limited to a single source. Ordering from a CA dealer represents no particular advantage since Matson charges approx $1,100 from Oakland or Long Beach to Hawaii.

Does the invoice pricing drop when you do ED or just the "suggested" msrp which no one pays anyways

man, you loaded that thing. Well congrats. I am contemplating between just ordering and picking it up at the dealer or do an ED. I love to do ED, but i start a new job, and I don't want any conflict.

Is there really any price difference on ED vs regular delivery if you negotiate the dealer down to invoice?

Since the ED invoice will always be lower than the US invoice, and since a part of your lease numbers are based on the residual of the US MSRP, your monthly payments will always be lower via a ED pickup.

for the 535i, US base invoice is 45k, ED base invoice is 42k

When I did my calculations, it lowered my payments enough to warrant a ED pickup.
