rear-ended this morning

well i've had my 2010 335i since october and i got rear-ended today. i was sitting at a red light waiting to turn left to get to work. there was a car stopped behind me. next thing i know i feel a light jolt. at first i thought i stalled the car or something weird, but it was in neutral and my foot wasn't on the clutch. turns out the girl behind me was doing make up and her foot wasn't on the break. minimal damage. only a small hole where her license plate screw punctured my bumper.

she gave me her insurance information with no problem. hopefully it all goes smoothly. just a bit annoying. i wonder how big a fix it is. i have rear-parking assist so i don't know if those sensors are going to make it more difficult to fix. i'm just worried about how long until i get the car back. bleh.

aww thats a shame =( glad nothing too serious was damaged =)
excuse to order up and install the new is diffuser as part of the repair? =)
like lots of members say, make something good out of something bad!

Ps. the sensors should not be difficult to fix because I don't think they are damaged at all if the only damage is a slight screw hole.
They simply fix or replace the bumper and reattach the parking senors.

no. pretty sure last time i was in an accident the police wouldn't even come out unless someone was injured so i don't even call anymore.

If you can master the art of guiding the cup to your lips while keeping your eyes on the road, then I don't see the problem. If you are one of those people that have to watch the cup come to your face or you'll miss your mouth, then yeah, could be a probelm. Women applying make-up....their attention is firmly on applying the make-up. They are looking at the mirror for extended periods, not the road.

Seems it is the week to get rear ended in an E90. I was hit on Tuesday night sitting at a stop light by a Toyota 4Runner. Proud to say I drove home and the truck stayed parked (it blew the radiator). Already have it in the shop and I am hoping to get it back next week sometime.
