Will 19" 8.5 +22 and 9.5 +20 fit an 06 e90?

Hey Guys,

I need some help from the offset gurus. I currently drive an 06 e90 Sport, that are currently running the stocks wheels and sport suspenssions..

I believe my current stock setup is as follows:

2 Front - Size 17x8.5" front +35 offset
2 Rear- Size 17x9.5" rear +35 offset

I have the opportunity to get the following:

2 Front - Size: 19 x 8.5 - Offset: +22 - Centerbore: 72.6
2 Rear - Size: 19 x 9.5 - Offset: +20 - Centerbore: 72.6

Would those wheels fit my e90 with my car in stock conditions? Would I need to make any modifications to my car to get the rims to fit? And not sure what centerbore means.

Any help or guidance would greatly be appreciated.

The centerbore of a wheel is the size of the machined hole on the back of the wheel that centers the wheel properly on the hub of the car. Centerbores on wheels are typically a standard size by brand or size (measured in inches or mm). Hub sizes vary by vehicle brand and style.

When this hole is machined to exactly match the hub so the wheels are precisely positioned, minimizing the chance of a vibration, it is said that the wheel is “hub centric”.

Some wheels require centering rings that lock into place in the back of the wheel in order to become hub centric and reduce the risk of vibration while driving. This is an acceptable alternative.

If you don’t not have hub centric wheels (lug centric), they should be torqued correctly while the vehicle is still off of the ground so they center properly. The weight of the vehicle can push the wheel off-center slightly while you're tightening them down if left on the ground.

There's an old post in The photo/video/media gallery of a member's car, which is an e92, running 19x10 et 22 all the way around. His car is lowered and he says that with this setup he has no rubbing and can do full u-turns. However, he did max roll his fenders to make it work. Also he is running some pretty stretched tires. IIRC he's running 235/35/19. Hi highly dobt the above setup will work without having to roll your fenders. But if you can test fit the rims give it a shot.

You'll definitely need a fender roll in the rear. Front is pretty aggressive too

Unfortunately both front and rear are not correct fitment for your car. You'll definitely need some work done for them to properly sit. Front and rears will poke.

Ton-
The front is going to rub against the bumper bolt in the wheels well - Can be fixed with running a slightly smaller tire up front (think 225 instead of 235) and possibly swapping the bolt out for a shallower one.

the rear will need a fender roll, no way around that with those offsets. That being said the fitment will look awesome on the car if you do it, I can help you with the Fenders (shave them out or roll them)

Let me know if you need a hand

what kind of e90 are we talking about? because my et25 rear do not poke at all. i say those are prime offsets. et23 will poke slightly in the front but not too extreme
