Speaking of Aston Martins. I have a AM Lagonda crate engine in my garage that my dad swapped out of his 1978 AM V8 Vantage for a real Vantage engine from the RS Williams 7 litre development mule, licensed 5EXY. I'll get more info on it for anyone who shows interest...
The car was a real Vantage, with a "V" series chassis #, but a regular US spec engine. Due to emmission regulations, real 400 hp Vantage engines were not US legal. The engine was in very good condition, but with 78K miles. It may need to be cleaned thoroughly before being started up up again.
