They must have swtiched over to summer gasoline blends recently

My car is getting much better mileage. The trip computer is telling me I can go about 400 miles on a tank. I've driven 1/3 of a tank so far and I'm at 130 miles. I haven't driven any differently. In the winter I would get under 300 miles per tank.

The only thing I changed was going from BP gasoline only to anything else.

the computer is always wrong in the beginning. You have to do a mpg calculation after the tank is empty to get an accurate number.

Yea my trip comp always says 400, and 300 when ive driven 100 miles. But by the time im at 1/4 or light goes on, i've barely gone around 300 miles on my tank. I reset my trip odometer each tank just to know how many mpg I get.

Shit I only get about 220-250 miles on a full tank of gas!

Its not a daily driver for me so when I take it out, I take it out!
It also doesn't help that I am a fully modded vert though

My computer use to always say 400 when I filled up. However I guess it got tired of being wrong because it has now started saying upper 300s.

Tell that to the NOAA and the other weather modelers...

That said, summer blends have more "oxygenation" and that usually means a bit less mileage - mostly due to the fact that they up the percentage of ethanol for the warmer months.

I usually get a little over 100 miles per 1/4 tank, going by the gauge. Comes out to around 26mpg on average. I drive a lot of highway miles.

My car always tells me 400 miles when I fill up and I do mostly city driving...average 19.5mpg...I end up with 300 miles to the tank usually and the computer adjusts itself gradually through the use of the tank

Well, something is up because I ended up getting 360 miles on the tank compared to about 280-300 miles normally. I didn't drive any differently.

Yup.

I hate how everything is dependent on the computer. I had to argue with my SA forever to get them to replace my pads. But your computer doesn't say that you need them! It's been 26,000 miles in Atlanta!

Oh I'm sorry your sensors were bad... No shit!
