Minnesota Summer Meet Thread!

Guys,

I think it is that time again to catch up and talk bimmers. Our last meet was awesome with 12 to 15 people showing up with an M3 to boot! A few of us also did an awesome drive along some twisties (thanks Gary!) down to Red Wing.

As with our other meets, I propose we meet at Imola, take some pictures, grab some lunch, and plan a cruise.

Date - August 28, 2010 (tentative, feel free to propose alternatives!)
Location - Imola Motorsports and head over to PROkart Indoor for some gokarting!

Please update this thread with whether or not you plan to attend.

Martin - Please upload some of your pictures from our previous meets.

I think that date should work for me.

What if we switched up the plan for this one and meet up in a park or something and bring stuff to BBQ? Just a thought.

Definitely an option! Just a thought. Kevin has a grill at Imola as well.

Cool! June 10th should work for me too!

As I mentioned before, we can go to ProKart and get $10 rides (Normally $20)

BBQing is also possible too. It's apx 10 minutes NW of the 694/494 interchange in Maple Grove.

Hmmm, it's going to be tough to fiind a time that works for everybody!

Should we try to have everyone list out the weekends they think will be free for July & August? Probably the easiest way to see what overlaps

If the meet was to be on a weekend, I just need a few weeks notice so I can make sure that I will be off then.

As the title says and as suggested by Gary the omniscient, please post your preferred days for the meet and perhaps we could converge on one day.

Anyway, I don't have any significant weekend plans this summer other than having to go to China in mid-July, so I'm pretty open.

As of right now I should be open any weekend after July 4.

On a related note, the local BMWCCA annual picnic is July 18, so we shouldn't plan our meet for that day.
