Rear strut brace

Does anyone know if you can get a rear strat brace for the Z4MC, if so what advantage does it bring to the car?

Cheers

I don't know if any rear strut bars made for the Z4MC are out there but it'd be an extremely easy, albeit custom, job for any race or even machine shop to do. You'd simply need to make mounts and weld a bar between them. Done. That said, the Z4MC really already is an incredibly stiff chassis and you probably wouldn't see a difference on the street and you probably wouldn't even see the difference on the track. As with most strut braces put on BMW's, they're more for show. Then again, I do have the Strong Strut front braces and love the way they look in the engine bay.

If you look at the way the unibody is constructed in the rear you will see that there is no value in adding any additional reinforcement. A bar would be of no value. The front does benefit from reinforcement of suspension attachment points at both top and bottom.
