Easy...you almost sound like John Kerry. Leave the "enlisted" word out and you're golden.

LOL ok gentlemen, check it out. I'm not an LT. Thats the ranking system for E90Post forum depending on how many posts you have.
By the way, I'm a Staff Sergeant so I'll put enlisted wherever I feel like. I know you thought I was an officer though, so no biggy.

Yep back to work today. It sucks. I think I have the holiday blues, its always hard to come back from leave and jump back into the routine......anyways hope everyone had a good Holiday break.
As for the OP's english. I would think being in the army for a while. People would understand that not eveyone that serves was born in the US and speak's perfect english. |

Damn the coolest place I had a chance to go overseas was Yokosuka, Japan. Just not feeling Japan for 2 years though so I passed. Navy doesn't have much out in Germany. You guys are lucky.

You don't have to pay taxes when you get back. Need to hold the car for 6 months on this end so it'll be considered used. Once you're in the states, go to the JAG office and grab a notarized waiver (saying you're not from that state) before heading to the state veh registration office. You'll just have to pay for the registration, license plate and inspection...but not the sales tax. Done it a few times already.
