I could recommend one that should be able to do it in VA, but that would be a decent drive. Let me know if you can't find one.

Place I'm thinking of is Chantilly, IMA Motorsport. It used to be a dedicated Porsche shop, pretty nice one too it seems, but they just recently got a BMW mechanic who definitely seems to know his stuff. I'd definitely give them a call first and ask if he can do it, his name's John. Number is (888)322-6997.

+1 on IMA Motorsport.

They installed my Quaife. If you look on their website, that's my car on the lift. Good people and very knowledgeable. Call John or Ivan or Jennifer. They have a $50 off discount for first time folks, too.

Actually I think that was the reason they couldn't fit me in, one of them was real busy on his M5 I believe.

Yeah pretty sure it was your recommendation that led me to them.

If you dnt want to do it yourself ( it's not that bad) I'd recommend atspeed motorsports in ellicot city. Www.atspeedmotorsports.com. They're a Porsche race car shop and suspension/alignment is a specialty. Check my LSD install thread.

I thought installation was pretty intense, with calibrations for tension and alignment and whatnot? Anyways, Hawkeye I'm assuming you read the posts above yours? IMA would still be my recommendation although I'm not 100% on whether they do suspension so give them a call.

IMA vs. At Speed is like comparing an authentic braintrust to a piece of donkey dung.

For those newbies and unknowing inclined to be wowed by At Speed's / Bob Miller's lies and cars sitting around almost all of which have a not good story and a disgruntled owner / customer (if not pending lawsuit) behind them.... enjoy the show.

Ivan at IMA vs. Bob Miller or any of his "team"... give me a break.... if you don't know... you dont know. And the "racing credentials" of At Speed.... if you only knew the real story.

If you want to pay to listen to Bob's lies and look at some cars sitting around... do so at your own peril.

GO TO IVAN / IMA!!!!!!

I'd never heard of At Speed until tonight. Another member just had his LSD installed there and I think was happy with it.

Clearly 333sp had a bad experience or maybe has some other ax to grind... A cursory google search turned up no negative reports on At Speed. I personally found them to be very professional and experienced. All one has to do is look at their daily projects or some of the archived daily projects to see the breadth and class of cars that they deal with regularly.
I have nothing but high praise and would feel confident recommending them. They were recommended to me by a member on this forum with high praise as well. Nice people, quality work, and all promises delivered.

Hey, some calls 'em as they seez 'em.

For those unfamiliar with IMA Motorsports, here are a few web sites from people other than the fanboys...

http://www.yelp.com/biz/ima-motorsport-chantilly

http://www.pcarshops.com/virginia/ima-motorsport

http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/member.php?u=42798

Finally, my own experience with IMA Motorsports:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=311570

I am not casting aspersions on any shop, but NoVa guys have a very reputable and experienced shop in IMA Motorsport in Chantilly. Ivan has a BMW expert for us, and is quick to respond to anything his crew has touched. A true pro.

If you perchance go to the dark side and trade in your b for a pcar, here is a youtube video for you:

LOL!
