Air Filter Replacement

I just recently changed from stock intake to an injen intake and noticed that my car is up for service for an air filter replacement in July 2010.... Is there anyway to clear that service indicator ourselves or do I have to bring it in and change it back to stock to get service to clear it? thanks

BT tool or autologic can clear CBS notifications.

is this something i purchase or something that car shops should have?

This can be purchased if you are interested in clearing codes as well as checking other diagnostics on your BMW - or simply have an independent clear the CBS indicators for you.

No you don't need a bt scanner
I can't remember how but do a search to clear these reminders
