If you search the forums, i believe awhile back there was a post about the maganflow with duel exhaust and it had attachments with video and sound clips, use the search and you should be able to find it.

If i were you i would just go to an exhaust or muffler shop. They can build you a cat-back from scratch. you select the size of the piping, the brand of the muffler and tips, as well as if you want to do resonator or cat deletes. pretty much built to your taste, for half the price.

I still have the resonator, it gives it a nice sporty sound but nothing too loud.

BMW PE is worth the money. And what system are you talking about for $1200? You can find a BMW PE for under $1000 shipped.

Yeah if you want that quiet deep tone then its DEFINITELY magnaflow. BMW PE isnt deep but it does have a nice sound to it, it also wont void your warranty. Too bad its expensive as hell.

I can build you a setup for cheaper then either option. out of a stock exhast shell, so the the dealer - its a stock part#

But the BME PE will be cheaper then the Eisenmann if its a pure price decision

Sk8board511 - Have Craven make you one it will be cheaper, louder and just like the BMW PE. That is what i'm going to have him do once he finishes with the suspension i have him doing for me. Hopefully next week I will have him do the exhaust.

eh....you gotta get something with some balls to over power the sound of the turbo. like a meisterschaft or even eisenmann (not nearly close in loudness to meisterschaft though)

I ended up getting a Magnaflow 12148 muffler with tips, piping and labor all for $200. The muffler retails for $158 on the Magnaflow website but my muffler shop near me had it brand new for around $100. It has a nice deep ( not too deep) sound. I can definitely hear it inside the car and it doesn't drone. I am thinking about a res delete for a little more aggressive sound but I'm not in a hurry. It sounds great with my Injen intake. It's cheap so I recommend it.

I just had a shop put on a pair of Magnaflows on my 335 today. The drone from just off idle and anytime I press the gas even slightly is unbarable. I mean serious headaches after like 10 minutes at any speed. Too bad to because it looks fantastic with all mig welds done and they put on some nice 4" tips that fit the stock diffuser perfect. Im heading back in the morning to try putting in an H pipe or cross to help. Otherwise ill be spending major bucks for a catback system I guess.
