Where's my E90?
Hello everyone,
As everyone else that has ordered their E90 ( here in the U.S. ), I am getting very anxious. last check at Owners Circle showed that my car is still at the Preparation center. Has anyone in the U.S. seen, touched, sat in or driven their car off the lot yet? I know that the "official" release date is May 6th, but I have heard rumors ( here on this forum I think) that BMW may release cars on the 2nd. All I know is my dealer already has sold a 325i Demo car. Some lucky soul is out there enjoying that car, while the rest of us await our pre-ordered E90s. |

I suppose it would vary depending on your dealers location and the location of the VPC. I live in Las Vegas. My dealer here told me since it would be at the Port in L.A., it would take a day or two to get here. The distance from L.A. to Vegas is around 300 miles I believe. I'm actually hoping that the VPC will start to transport the vehicles before the 6th, so they would get to the dealer on the official release date.

My dealer has at least 5 E90s in stock. 3 were pre-sold with a large shipment coming in (or due in) by the 6th. I was told that even if I bought one today, I could not take possession until the 6th due to contractual agreements with BMWNA. It’s a pity too, there are some nice models just racking up miles on the dealers lot…

That's odd,
My dealer sold a 325i Demo on the first day ( April 26th ) the Demo's were there. He said its because they had 2 identical 325i's and they could afford to "give one up". But the rest of us who pre-ordered still have to wait... |

They're not supposed to sell the cars. What they do is do all the paper work first, jack up the price, and put a later date in which they are allowed to sell the car on the contract. It's pretty sad and wrong if you ask me, but oh well, business is business

BMW has had ALL the cars except for the demos locked up in the Prep centrs waiting for release date. The roads will be full of BMW transporters tomorrow. The dealers will be flooded with cars starting tomorrow.

Yea...
My wife got a call from our dealer. He told her that they called the Port and told them to make a "HOT" release and "RUSH" our car onto a truck tommorrow morning. He said it shoudl be here by Friday. Call me skeptical...but I think thats just "mumbo jumbo"..they probably planned that all along and just said that to make us think they are going the extra mile...what do you think? |

Where's our cars???
OK, Here's the plan:
If our cars aren't here by Fri. we form a strike force (First Bimmer Airborne) and go get them ourselves from the Spartanburg fortress. I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more!!!! Who's going to volunteer for this elite force? Sign up now while there's still space available for the crack unit!! |

My dealer just called and said my car will be at the dealership on Saturday, but they have to prep it, inspect it, and whatever else they have to do, and they said I can drive it home on Monday.
