uninstalling xede?

would it be hard to uninstall and reinstall xede without losing performance?

thatd be tite if there's a diy on it

a) how would you possibly lose performance by uninstalling the XEDE, you car would operate at stock conditions.

b) when purchased, the XEDE will come with a video on installation...so to do an uninstall repeat all steps backwards..

i think he might meen is it possible to uninstall and then reinstall it and keep a custom tune?

Yes, the custom tune in stored inside our computer in nonvolotile memory. It does not get erased if you kill power by uninstalling it temporarily.

well "custom tune is with the xede module in" even in context i still dont know what your trying to convey, to me that sentance says, you custome tune a car with the xede module in, not yes you can disconect the xede module and retain your custom tuning

whats shiv, what do you consider temporarily? how long can the xede sit without erasing the tune?

while were on the topic and so i dont have to search, you can store extra maps on a laptop right, and does it only ship w/ one map, do u get the others? ect

If you search the topic, theirs a lot of info on vishnus xede. But to answer your question you can download the maps off vishnu's website and load them. Supposedly their going to have a switch where you can toggle between 2 maps in your car so you dont need to keep the maps in your laptop, they'll be stored in your car.
