SES light after removing air flow sensor

How long does it usually take for the SES light to go off after unplugging and plugging back in the air flow sensor? I did it a few weeks ago and it went away after about 20 miles. Now it has been 4 days and roughly 40 miles and its still on. I even left the battery unplugged for about 16 hours. Pisses me off because it was at the dealer for an oil change and all new brakes all the way around and they put it down on my bill but didn't turn it off, WTF. I dropped like 1,000 bucks the least they could have done was clear my faults out for me.

I had my sensor unplugged when I installed the 3 stage intake manifold. When I plugged everything back I didn’t get any light. I didn’t disconnected the battery.

I dont remember getting any faults when I turned my car back on after installing the AFE CAI. I didnt unplug the battery or anything. I guess double check to see if everything is tight

I would definitely take it back to the dealer if they charged you for it and didnt clear it.

Btw, The dealer shouldn't charge for clearin codes. Go to a pepboys/autozone...they'll scan/clear for free.
