Sprint Booster works?
From Bavauto.com....Anyone installed this?
Got throttle lag? Put the punch back in your pedal. The Sprint Booster power converter is an easy-to-install, electronic device that eliminates the delay in pedal response common in cars with Electronic Throttle Control (ETC, a.k.a. "drive by wire"). It continuously measures the digital signal being sent by the accelerator, modifies the signal and tells the engine management system to respond more quickly. You get crisp acceleration on tap, dramatically improving response time and your overall driving experience. (In other words, "Yee-haw!!!") It doesn't increase your car's horsepower -- it just make the car more responsive to your commands. You'll notice better off-the-line acceleration, faster 1/4-mile times, greater quickness when passing and easier on-hill starts. We tested it here at Bavarian Autosport and loved it! Apparently we're not alone. Here's what renowned automotive photographer and writer Klaus Schnitzer wrote to us after he installed a Sprint Booster in his 2004 325iT: "... Very linear and more responsive than stock. This is how the feel should have been from the factory. The driving sensation is very similar to BMW M throttle settings, minus the power. It makes for more involved and fluid driving. The only problem is that I now want to go faster!" The Sprint Booster comes with a switch you can mount on or near your dash. Leave the button alone to drive the car in stock mode; push it once for Level 1 (a smooth acceleration enhancement); push it again for Level 2 (an aggressive boost). One of the most noticeable performance upgrades you can do. No modifications or changes in fuel are required. Backed by a lifetime warranty. Installation takes about 10 minutes

for the money just get the PBX. It works better and gives you some extra power... sprint booster is a waste of money. only makes your car "feel" faster.

Don't need both. The BMS PBX offers enhanced throttle response features like the sprintbooster.

The BMS Power Box remaps the throttle mapping for better throttle response, and an increase in horsepower and torque. The Power Box features easy installation and removal, and gas pedal switching between 7 performance maps. The Power Box shows power gains from 8-10 horsepower and 8-10 Ft./Lbs. of torque at the rear wheels on a dyno. The BMS Powerbox is by far the most popular tune within the N52 community. I'll shoot you over a PM with more details!

From what I read the BMS Powerbox has horrible gains.

I guess I changing my own topic to PBX...
What is the performance response (PBX) for automatic transmission E90s? Does it really react similarly like an M3?

Well, comparing an M3 to your 325.... thats just crazy. the pbx will give you a lot better throttle response. meaning when coming out of corners or accelerating fast it will be instant, instead of the lag you are used to. it makes your car feel lighter. Also, it gains about 8-10 hp. which is great for us. If you want to go bigger check out the gintani tune from craven. You can also stack these tunes for better throttle and more power.
hope that helps... pm me if you have other questions.

Normally we run:

We'll need to set up a canyon run next time...I have lots of house work and family stuff.
I'm right at Twin Lakes and Triunfo Cyn you're welcome to swing by. Your 328 has more punch anyways and my butt dyno is not tuned in for that.

BTW, I have a M-control arm mod that gets slightly better handling. Just a little more responsiveness and feel on the steering wheel. I highly recommend this mod when your OEM one needs replacement. I think it was about $50 more than the non M control arm.
