My 335d saloon *PICS*

Le Mans Blue / Lemon interior.

Its been here for about a month and I've had it detailed by Paul at Miracle Detail:

Comfort Access
Electric seats with heating
Mirror pack
sliding armrest
PDC
Xenons
Active Cruise Control
High beam assistant
Navigation Professional
Bluetooth
Logic 8
Tinted windows

In fact the only thing I didn't bother with on the options list was the active steering and adaptive lights - couldn't quite justify the cost of those two options.

Having come from an E46 M3 I had some high expectations. I have to say I love it, although I think the steering doesn't feel accurate at speed - quite noticable >100mph (tested where legally permitted of course).

Beautiful!

So shiny you can see yourself taking the photo's

Is that a little Alpina logo on the numberplate? Synter supplied?

I'd go for the debadge next time not for the ability to surprise people (though that would be fun), but because it's a pain cleaning and getting all the wax out of the corners of the numbers.

The front looks good as well as the rims. Nice ride overall. ...by the way...what the heck is a "sliding armrest?"

Jared,

Looks great. Vvery jealous! I've sold my E90 due to a house move, but get some blacklines on the rear if you can. They really sort the look of the rear end out!

Have fun

Nice car mate. If you don't mind me asking - how much was it for the detailing?

Paul charges £75/hr + VAT and on mine it took about 5-6 hours.

Did he use Zymol wax on the paintwork? if so was it done in a heated garage area?

Reason I ask is because its a rite pig to apply if the temp is below about 15-18C.

I just managed to get a coat of Titanium wax on in early October...took about 4 hours. Wash, clay, HD cleanse then finally Wax.
Its still really beading up when wet and certainly makes for an easy wash even with the salty muck on the roads.

Makes for nice even saturated finish and one tub of wax does last a long time. But gives you tennis elbow
