I love my XI car! I just retrofitted the sport steering wheel with paddle shift and added new BMW style 285 wheels + Hankook V12.

My previous car:

Nissan SE-R Spec-V 2002

And me driving my dream car!

Renault F1 2006 (R26)

awesome. i feel like there are more wagons in canada that here in the states. as for the F1 pic, i cant wait until we get the grand prix in texas. was that alonso's car or piquet's?

piquet-what? it's 2006 and it's Alonso's, see number "1".

Nice OEM improvements OP! Not sure what to make of your previous car, looks really ugly but we don't get them here... Judging by 80s name it's probably got a big engine or smth?

In the first pics those 17" 285 wheels looks like 18s, I gotta say one of the best looking 17" OEM wheels for the e9x.

-Nissan SE-R SPEC-V is a great car, best bang for the buck for a sport compact car. The car was nice with the red interior seats, the 2.5L 170HP QR25DET engine and HLSD. With a CAI + header + 2.5po catback, I maybe got 185-190 HP. The real issue with this car is the torque effect on the steering wheel and the non independent rear suspension. I know this car has been sold in USA but is most popular in Canada. On the start the car is faster than a 328i.

I really like the Style 285 OEM wheels. It fit perfectly the "touring" shape of the e91. I tried a 328I with 18po before I ordered my wheels and I felt it to much hard to control the car on imperfect streets. . I will take some picture of the interior, but it is pretty basic with the gray leatherette + ZSP steering and paddle shift. I have the gray trims and I like the look.

The F1 car was the Alonso's one after he wons the Mtl GP in 2006. This color set was the best looking one for Renault and I realy dislike the orange ING color. I was working as a technical scrutineer. Between 2007 and 2009, I worked at the Renault F1 factory and I got the chance to see all the car's concept, design and production, from aerodynamics to the garage. I love F1.

I will try to participate to a meet at DIX30 in the next few weeks. Thanks for the info.
