N55 boost software?
Does anybody know who has a software for N55? I know Dinan does not have it, yet, plus Dinan prices are up there!!
I want to get my $00HP/400 torque ASAP!! Thank you |

It's a shame no one uses the function anymore... And it's a real shame I'm going to do this: PROcede: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=404089 JB3: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=408534 Those are the only two who have shown any interest in tuning the N55 with a piggyback, no flash tuners have created a tune yet, or if they have, they have not advertised it...

It doesn't seem like there is much out there yet for the n55. I'd be interested to know if FMIC configuration is different and how other bolt-ons will work out.
Mine's built next week. |

Let the tuners do the RD so it's safe for all N55 owners.
it's early - they'll be options. who knows what bmw has done to stop us from get'n more HP. also - someone posted that BMW was doing a powerpack for the N55. more money to be safe and under warranty.

Yes, but the power increase is very moderate. Only 20 lbs of torque and HP.
I rather pay $2000 to Dinan. They usually add about 100HP/Tq. They also match the BMW warranty. Here is the link: http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...ePowerKit.aspx |

1. DINAN numbers are at the cranck and rated with higher quality fuel.( I think I read it in C&D) 2. Do more search about the Dinan warranty as you have to make sure your dealer is cool with Dinan. |

vazbro i don't think that's the Powerkit for the N55.
doesn't specify but i'm sure it's for the N54 engines. and just to let you know - i'm not pretending to know or lead anybody that i have experience on tunes. I'm learning and having fun. i'm just say'n they'll be options. the N55 may have a new system to figure that you have a tune -- or easier for bmw to trace, even if u clear codes... i don't know - I'm only speculat'n because a new engine introduces new variables. that's common sense to me. and does dinan have a tune for the N55 yet?? i'll search.
