Maryland Roundel

Yesterday I saw a white 3 series in Bel Air w/ a BMW Roundel center that was of Maryland's Flag. Looked pretty cool too.

Anyone know anything about these?

why would anyone replace a BMW roundel with anything? those give you at least 100 Hp and 1000000 cool points

I'm sure I'll see him again. Next time I'll just stop him, and ask about it. It did not look like an overlay. The black ring w/ "BMW" was the same. The center was still quartered like the white and blue are, but each 1/4 had the MD flag. So each flag fulled it's 1/4 section, flag touching flag and the out side of the inner circle touching the black BMW ring.

I may have a pic on my harddrive somewhere, I'll have to look. It was just an overlay. I cleaned the roundel off and put this on there.

you would have to clear off the center blue and white part but not the outer part. seems very difficult to do.

So, my quest continues. I'm still in search of the elusive Maryland Flag Rondel, but still have not seen it "again" to date.
Just bringing this a bump to see if anyone has further info.

bringing this back from the grave. I saw the same thing at Bimmerfest '12 and/or M Pact East on a Black M5. Loved it and couldnt find it so I had my decal guy do it for my car so here it is on my car.
