i was wondering too, been looking for a place with modern setting preferrably with lots of lighting? Anyone have good idea?

A few comes to mind:

Gas Town; Granville Island; Front Street in New West; Coat Harbour/West Cordova/Burrard Place area; Burnaby Mountain by the totem poles; Rocky Point in Port Moody; Swan-E-Set; Pitt Lake etc.

Tons of scenic places in town, but you'll pretty much need to get there at sunrise or early enough to miss the traffic/crowd...

Gave you a warning for just taking photos? What was the legal reasoning behind the warning?

i dun rmb, it was actually a slip of paper like those violation ticket except its different color and just a warning.

Was just at Langara College by 49th and Cambie and it has a very modern library. Could be a good location.
