Hi All,
i have 2003 2.5i Z4, It has 60k miles. i never had changed brake rotors. i am looking for non OEM brake rotors and brake pads. 1. Slotted or drilled rotors? 2. how often should we change brake rotors? 3. cool carbon brake pads or oem factory pads? please help Last edited by SHEEDI; 08-02-2010 at 02:03 PM.. |

For rotors, slotted or drilled rotors are both great applications for your vehicle. It really boils down to your choice of aesthetics, but I'd go for slotted myself.
Brake rotors should be changed when they are worn down, which depends on your driving style, but typically should last a couple years. Cool Carbon Brake Pads are great alternatives to OEM pads as the have less dust and are better suited for track use when you would like to visit your local track, while adding more stopping power for daily driving. |
