F-10 Air Conditioning not doing good job

I have had my F10 535i for 2 months and I know it is in the middle of summer (103 where I live today) but the A/C does not do a good job. My 2007 E60 had a great A/C but the F10 does not put out the cold air.

Anyone else having this issue?

Maybe have it checked out. We've been high 90's low 100's here, and my A/C has been ice cold - so much so that I've actually used the little dial by the middle registers to warm them up a bit so my face doesn't freeze.

I keep it at 67 and its perfect for hot NJ days. After tint it is much cooler inside since the sun is not beating on me.

It's working pretty well, 'iced' windscreen sometimes, @ >30 degrees centigrade keeping it just cool.

Dunno what's wrong with yours.

But 106/7 is 40/41 degrees celsius:Wow.:/ I was talking about 86F(30 celsius)

Working great for me as well. Actually was surprised how fast the ac pumps out cool air compared to other cars.

Dumb question but is the cool/snow flake button on?

The cool/snow flak button is on and today I reduced the temp to 68 and it was better. With my E60 it was cold at 72.

Thanks everyone.

Mine too, is working well and is very effiecient. Even if outside is over 40C, the car cools in few minutes.

I keep mine on 75 to 78 usually, but if I get in the car and it's really hot I'll turn it down to 72 for a bit (or hit the max button). I do have tinted windows which likely helps some.

I keep mine set on 68 and car cools down quickly and remains comfortable. With black and black in Florida, I'm very happy with the AC unit. Same is true of my wife's X5.

I would have it checked out at your dealer.

Check your thumb wheel, which is for "fine tuning" it might be in towards the red mark and your A/C is fighting it. See manual page 126.
Mine is set at 70 F at 92F outside with no problem.

Similar problem

I have to put it at 16c before it cools. I also noticed that it's hot when you start the aircon and cools after a minute or two.

I had mine barely a month.

I also had a busted 'control unit'. I can't control my I drive.

I just hope that I am not getting a lemon.

Suspension is great though.
