I read in another post a complaint that The 5 series does not have airbag protection for the rear occupants. This video clearly shows that they exist. Or was the complaint that the rear seat belts do not include pre-tensioners? I don't see a major safety issue here, or am I missing something?

I believe the complaint is that the rears do not have side curtain airbags built into the seat or door, but they do have head curtain airbags. Here is another top IIHS car and as you can see the rear seat has a head curtain and seat curtain for the rear passanger.
