Door Ding

I think my neighbor left me a present on my door...

I used to use Dent Doctor, but they don't do door to door service anymore.

Any other recommendations?

It has been several years but I used Tony McGrath of www.autocosmetic.com and was completely amazed with the work. Just checked the web and at least the company is still around.

That is terrible....generally speaking most people drive cars they could care less about so the odds are everntually some idiot who is carrying a coffee and talking on his cell while opening the door by pushing it with their foot will give you a ding.

the worst offenders are large people in minivans - I have watched a couple of them get out in the Costco parking lot and they basically swing the door open as wide as possible and "roll" out of the seat...

Ouch. Sorry to hear that.

That's why I tend to park as far away as possible. People who ding doors tend to be the same ones that are willing to sit and wait for 10 full minutes for a close spot as opposed to parking far away. It's so frustrating to see people have absolutely no respect for others.

let it sit for a couple of weeks. Sometimes the dent magically disappears, then you just buff the surface scratch out yourself.

Thats the KW area for you...not surprised at all...in the KW area I always park far and far away...they say people in Toronto don't know how to drive?

KW area is one of the worst...first of all the area is not a grid like Toronto, so people get lost and at the same time lose their driving focus...and then when they get out, they just bang their doors against other cars...sucks...
