Hello , anyone know when 550i exhaust tips gonna show in parts shop ? i wanna fit them on my incoming 530d

I would suspect BMW have deliberately ensured that the 550i exhaust tips cannot be fitted to any other model. Looking at pictures elsewhere, i think the combined width of 530d twin pipes is greater than one rectangular tip?

There is a retrofit 5.0i exhaust tip for the X6 35d, I have had it fitted, £700. It is cosmetic only. I think BMW are getting onto the personalising thing as an additional revenue stream. The problem with the 530d will be the rear bumper and cutting it out for the "other" pipe!

I have a 520d coming soon and I would love to do the same thing

When you will find where i can get them write to mine PM ok ? I was thinking about getting a 550i but it's sounds like a v6 and fuel economy is worse..

But will regular round tips fit or look properly in the 550i's angled bumper cutout ?
