Any members from the GTA waiting to get their Bimmer in Feb? That's from the Dec production?

Still waiting for the E90 335i to come in. ETA is expected to be around late January to mid February. The car was built on the 28th or 29th of December. God this wait is TORTURE... especially since the salt trucks aren't even out yet as they should this time of year!

Mine was built 3rd week of December. Shipped out on Dec 23rd, scheduled to arrive in Halifax on January 8th. The boat carrying my car is entitled the 'Toronto'. Very fitting. I've been without a car for 2 months and, like every enthusiast on this site, the wait is killing me. I spoke to my CA earlier in the week and he said it should be here (in the GTA) in 2 weeks or so. Is that what others have heard, 2 weeks from Halifax to GTA dealerships?

Yeah I hear ya, the wait is a killer.
I've been waiting for mine in early Nov, I think my production date was Jan now that I think about it. The last spot for Dec production was sold the day before I came to sign off on my papers. Ahh well, what's an extra month of waiting?? LOL

Should be getting mine this week or next. Built first week of Dec, ordered Sep 5 (!). Came across the pond on the Manon, on a train now.
2 weeks from Halifax seems to match what I've read. Manon docked on the 30th, CA has said the 16th for delivery.

I think the way to track them is to get the VIN number, I got a production # from my sales guy thinking that I could track it but ended up being wrong. I havent asked him for a VIN # yet.

PiperD, you must have the daily countdown going by now. Reminds me of when I was 8 years old and counting down the days until summer break.
Slim, I also tried tracking my car via the BMWNA site with the Production # and it didn't work. My CA told me my car made it onto the boat on the 23rd, scheduled to arrive on the 8th (he had this info on his computer), and so I used the tracker at http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSche...countryList.do to determine which boat it was on. See the tracking guide at http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=828 I ordered my car Oct 14th and my CA said I was lucky to get one of the last Dec production cars. He originally told me I likely wouldn't see my car until mid-Feb.

Looooong wait!!
I ordered my 335 coupe on Nov 13th, I was told it is sceduled to be built the week of Jan 29th. So the ETA is the last week of Feb or 1st of March. I didn't mind waiting for the car at first but it has gotten very hard with the weather we've had! To date, besides at the dealership I have only seen 2 coupes on the road soo far, both were 328's.

Waiting isn't so bad. It's having unfinished related tasks that I don't like.

you got it , but i dont really trust dealers , they know when the car comes to toronto , i think they dont tell the exact date for delivery because if they tell the truth less people are going to order and wait for a long time . |

they knew exactly when mine arrived...i wanted to look at it the day it came in and they made all sorts of excuses like we have to prep it and such...etc, etc...ended up being over 1 week before it arrived till it got into my hands...

Shit that sucks, I hope that doesn't happen in our case.... I really can't wait any more lol. I come by these forums twice a day trying to get more info on the car. I don't think I have ever known more about a car before I even owned it then now.
I really hope we get it in Feb like the dealers have said. If not I'll be going there and taking the demo for a few weeks till they get mine in

My turnaround from delivery at the dealer to driving off the lot was <24 hours. I don't think the dealers necessarily know precisely when a car will arrive since much depends on the rail freight from Halifax and then (for the GTA) for the delivery from the CN Concord facility which involves other companies and rotas, etc. The funny thing (actually pathetic) is that the majority of the transport cost is incurred after the car arrives in Halifax - the trans-Atlantic portion is about 30% of the shipping cost.
Once you have your car, this interminable delay will soon be forgotten. |

That would have sucked... but no, picked the car up on the 16th! I had updated the Manon thread and even posted a quick review in the General section.
So in the end it turned out to be ~4.25 months. (haven't updated the sig yet as I don't have any good pictures, had to put on the winters that same night when I got home)

I just placed an order two weeks ago and got a April Production number beginning with an 8######.
Does anybody else have April Production?
