Any good sealant is easy to use and last a long time. I have had good luck with Zaino, Blackfire Wet Diamond, and Jeff's Werkstat. They all have great protection just different looks after they have cured.

Most of the Zaino stuff I love, but is a fair bit of work to layer on etc except the all in one or Zaino Z-CS is pretty awsome and you don't even have to buff it out.
I personaly still like a real good carnuba wax - I use Zymol Carbgon or Creme depending on the color of the car (the good stuff, not the autzone $12 stuff which is turtle wax) and it is super easy to put on and buff out and then I use a little Z-CS over it once in a while.

I finally broke down and purchased Blackfire Wet Diamond. It was a liquid sealant, so it went on thin, very easily, and buffed out clean. It looks great and the reports on multiple forums are that it lasts a good amount of time.
As far as traditional waxes go, I'm such a big fan of the cheapo Poorboys Natty Blue, but honestly I'm only using it as a topper to the BWD now for extra gloss. coupon e90post is 10% off. or earlylabor for 10% off and free shipping on $50 orders.

I like using Optimum Optiseal and then using Optimum Car Spray wax after every wash. only takes a couple minutes and adds slickness and protection.

Go with a sealant. It will give you excellent protection and awesome looks. Both Optiseal and Blackfire are incredible products, and you really don't need to top either with a wax. If you do, there's a huge range in waxes (from $5-5000). It all depends on what you want to spend and what appeals to you. Browse around Detailers Domain or Detailed Image, read some reviews, and see what looks good. Based on what you're thinking, we can toss out our thoughts.

Detailed image sells a small size of supernatural. It's really a great wax and provides great protection. Not sealant level protection but pretty damn good nonetheless.

I'm pretty impressed with 3M Performance Finish. Leaves the paint super slick and seems to last. Doesn't even need to dry, put it on and wipe it right back off. Full synthetic. Paint must be clean first (clayed at least.)

Klasse All-in-One (red bottle) is always easy for a quick topper. Polish and sealant All In One.
