crazy lights

Last night at the grocery store, I turn off the lights , but the left rear brake light stays on even after it is locked... Worrisome.... then, I get home, turn off the lights, everything goes off as it should.... then, when I hit the "lock" button on the remote, all the lights (including the headlights), come on and stay on!! I had to turns the headllight switch on, then off to get it to go off! - My wife it driving it today, so I'll see what happens tonight... Any thoughts??

What are the e90 headlights supposed to do after you lock your car? On some cars they stay on for a minute after you walk away.

First one sounds like you bumped the indicator stalk and activated the parking lights ( you can make either side stay on so no car hits yours when parked on the side of the road at night )

Second one sounds like "follow me home lights". Not shre if USA gets this feature. Do you have Idrive ? Maybe its set to on in there. This feature is so the lights stay on for a predetermined time after locking the car so you can see where you are going while walking away

Have a read though your manual for these features
