BMW Performance Exhaust on e92 328xi HD Video
I haven't seen many good BMW Performance Exhaust videos on 328's with good audio, so I decided to make one. I love this exhaust and have no regrets about my investment. It's subtle enough for daily driving (as my car is a daily driver), but also aggressive enough to be fun. Be sure to watch in 720p -- enjoy!

As good as it sounds, I can't justify spending the money on it when I'm more focused on getting myself an R1. I think when my warranty goes kaboom I'm just going to delete the muffler and see how it is for a while. If I need to tone it down I'll just experiment with some different mufflers.
Good video though. One thing I noticed (and it could just be my sound card) is it seems like there is an awful lot of drone in the camera mic for the interior driving portions.

Thanks for the great video! 720p is killer, and the audio is well done too. I'm putting the order in for PE as soon as I can get some additional money saved up and pair it with the Performance Intake as well. Thanks again for an awesome video!

There is no exhaust noise from inside the car with the windows closed. The sound you're hearing is purely from the engine. The microphone was off the camera and I had nowhere to mount it, so I left it on the dashboard where it probably picked up all the vibrations throughout the car. Otherwise, it may be from me revving up the engine a bit more to stress the fact that the exhaust is inaudible with closed windows. With the windows open, the exhaust is still very subtle. What I mean to say is that there is NO DRONE whatsoever with this exhaust. Sorry for the bad clip -- I'll re-do some interior shots when I have time. |

The mic on the dashboard is probably the cause of the "drone" like sound.

I just got this done today. Well I don't know how it will sound once the exhaust is broken in but I can say that I can hear the exhaust easily with my window rolled down and it sounds nice. I am waiting to break it in before I get sound clips but it adds a nice little touch if you wanted to do it.
