fender rolling blues

The way it reads on the forums, you would think that fender rolling is no big deal-however, I can't find anyone willing to do it! I am in shreveport, LA and would willingly drive as far as Dallas, TX. I posted this in the Southeast forum and got 46 views and ZERO replies. I don't want to risk it myself.

If you're willing to drive to Dallas, go there. I think there is a vendor on this forum that sells wheels out of the Dallas area. Maybe you can ask them for a good shop to get it done.

Just buy an Eastwood roller and do it yourself.

its not worth driving around the country, and rolling a fender is simple.

Ya do it yourself, I was scared at first but honestly it's not hard at all. Just make sure to heat up the paint and take your time rolling it out.

Once, you've achieved the arch you are looking for, you can simulate "compression" by jacking up the arm, mounting the wheel and seeing how well it clears under compression, and natural camber.

If you need some advice, I can give you some assistance. I've personally rolled many fenders from big tire clearance to hella flush paper thin clearance.

How wide are your wheels/tires?
