In case anyone wanted to see what it looks like on Space Gray, here it is.

Thanks to both for their time and patience with me. Superb service overall from both, I highly recommend their service.

Just wanted to add a note for those with a diesel, the driver side it a PITA to get to. I have small ass hands and they got cut up pretty good as I had to go in behind the marker, through the fender. Not sure there was an easier way to do it, but I didn't do it that way. Passenger side was a breeze as there are plenty of notes previously posted about how to do it on non-diesel models.

Looks good - I got painted markers on '11 Sapphire and really makes a huge difference, very sporty. Another member (Epacy) commented on install of painted markers on the D, he said he had to drop the bumper down to put them on....

So is doing the driver side much different on the d? Just the tight squeeze correct? Looks really nice on sg!

I really like it - but I have big hands and the driver side install would probably be a no go for me.

Hi,

I just have a 35d on order and like to know if it's possible to change the marker on the driver side?
I know there is a mash window which could be removed.
Is this enough to give access to the marker?

Would be nice to know what I have to remove and if you applied heat from the outside?

Let me know maybe with a picture.

Thanks much

I have SG on order and I'm loving your mods. Do you have more shots from a distance?

Sorry for the late response. I don't have the X5 anymore, sold it earlier this year.
There is a way to get your hand in there to swap em out, but it's a pain, and it'll scratch the hell out of your hand. Your hand will heal, so it's worth it to make the X look better

Good luck.
