i will settle it

i currently have an 06 325i e90 u.s. spec... sport package with h&r sport springs for suspension upgrade and pbx+ikon exhaust+simota intake+resonator delete+mfd scoops after doing some research in ways of gaining some more power the contradiction seems to be that the gintani produces power the pbx doesnt. I can tell u stock my car has 15 less hp to the crank and 15lbs less torque than a 328i/xi i recently went up against two 328i's one was awd one rwd and i took both at a variety of speeds and distances. sometimes by several car lengths i am planning on doing the gintani tune now and i will dyno before an after i plan on leaving pbx in for just throttle response and gintani flash for the gains we will see the true difference with the setup i have and i will upload dynos and hopefully settle a great mystery and boost interest in doing the gintani tune if what is said is true which im sure is i think this would be a big contribution to the community of n/a guys and hope its appreciated

I got the same car and I was looking into Gintani too.

I will keep an open for your results. Thanks!

When are you planning on getting the tune?

I am now committing too by joining you in your contribution to the community if the tune is giving you significant gains with the setup you have.

As soon as you post some results, I will go with the tune as well but prior to that I will convert my intake manifold for the three stage 330 manifold . I wanted to wait for a possible EZ-flash option; but hopefully it will get out before I contact them.

so you're sending in your ecu? otherwise the cost would be comparable. the gintani tune w/ flash-a-majiga is like ~$950 or so and ~$550 if you ship them your ecu and you don't the the flash/data log thing. but if you send out your ecu you have a few days of down time...... hard decission.........

on a side not i have heard someone mention that they're running the 3 stage intake manifold fine w/ the pbx and that they felt the gains.

I think its worth it...give it a shot, send it next day. You'll be solving a great mistery...now for that stage 3 manifold...anyone got a thread on this? I am also interested in doing.

You can add the EZ Flash Module down the road, the tune is not dependent on it. We are making a trip the the East Coast to take care of some guys out there and check out Bimmerstock.

We might be able to work a few others in if time permits

I was going to mention it too; come on, that's a giant run-on sentence. Your information is actually really pertinent and I want to know more about your gains vs. the pbx, but that makes my head hurt.
