Does it make a difference?
They're the exact same brakes are they not?

Sedan.

i don't think so. i thought the coupe has larger calipers. since you have the sedan, they're easy to find. check **********s.com or zeckhausen.com.

AFAIK, the Coupe and Sedan both have the larger brakes, 13.7F and 13.2R

Hey guys, here's the info...

Front is a D918 with smaller rose clips and rear is a D683 with smaller rose clips. We have both of those shapes in Axxis Ultimate and Deluxe Plus but installing them on this car could be challenging because the rose clips are too big. The good news is that all you have to do to get the pads to fit is bend the rose clips a little bit, and once you get them in there will be no added chance of noise because the rose clips are tighter, not looser.

For those willing to do this small adjustment, the pads are available here:

1) When are the real pads coming available?
2) I'm afraid "rose clips" is a foreign term for me, so I googled and you don't want to know what all came up. So, is there a pic or diagram or instuctions somewhere for your proposed solution?

Thanks

Mike,

I asked my bud "Kujo" to give you a call regarding this.
I'm confused now.
He said after speaking to you that there are NO Axxis brake pads
for the 335i yet?

I can't stand the amount of brake dust the OEM pads generate, so I'm anxious to get them swapped out for equal or better quality pads that don't dust so much.
BUT, they need to be correct and safe.
If the pads you speak of with these altered "rose clips" are not the appropriate pads and are not 100% safe, I'll wait.

If I get a chance to call you today for more details I will.

Thanks

Rose clips are the clips on the back of the pad that attach to either the piston or a part of the piston.

I would estimate around 2 months for the actual 335i pads to come out

Thanks!

When the 335i specific pads come out, hit me with a PM and I'll hit you back with a CC #.

Ok time for an update.
Mike have you contacted Axxis recently to see if there is any progress on
making their pads for the 335i ???

Or "bug" them and hopefully they'll step it up in priority.
I'm getting REALLY tired of having to wipe down my wheels so stickin often.....argh!

Thanks

General lead time for the pads to be produced is 1-2 years from when the car is released to the public. So we might be waiting a little bit longer guys.
