Is Performance Exhaust full cat back or muffler only?

Visit BMW dealer today and the picture they show about the performance exhaust mainly focus on the muffler part. However, they claim that the exhaust is more than just a muffler. Is that true? Can anyone show pic of the performance exhaust system?

I just put one on my car myself --it's a cat-back system.
