Does anyone have Creative Zen Touch?
I want to get an MP3 player for my new baby and am looking at the Creative Zen Touch. Does anyone have this MP3 player in their car? Does it fit in the center console? Thanks!

Yes...I have the 40 gig Zen in silver. It works great. I have a 2005 X3 and it fits in that console. I won't know if it fits in my 3 series cuz I have to wait 2 more weeks until it is delivered. I can tell you that it is the same size as the Ipod 40 gigs. It also has a "Google" type search for music which the Ipod does not. One thing to be carefull of is the headphone jack is said to be pretty weak and sometimes breaks. I had to have one replaced due to this but the new one I've had has lasted over a year with no problems. I bring it everywhere......Hope this helps!

Thd13,
Since you are looking to buy a new player, you may want to look at one that is compatible with Yahoo music unlimited (or the more expensive Rhapsody-to-go service). For $60 a year (Yahoo) you can download all the albums you want to a compatible player. I have the Creative Zen Micro (in addition to a couple iPods) and it really gives me a lot of variety! |

I've owned 4 different Creative Zen players because I was really impressed with the sound quality but they were just breaking down on me constantly, the quality got poor, REALLY bad physical design and very sluggish software (although it does provide the best musical features I've seen to date) and just overall unattractiveness made me switch to Rio Karma. I love it but it's a bit outdated by now. If you're an audiophile, I highly recommend it.
Also, the iPods improved dramatically in sound quality over the years and you really can't beat the looks and size. Plus, it is more and more getting integrated into bimmers, so I'd probably go with an iPod. |

I guess it really depends on what you want. I like the karma as well because it was one of the first to support FLAC. My Phatbox also supports FLAC, so I wanted a karma for that reason at one point in the past. |
