Looked at my car door while opening it tonight and realized my next mod- LED LIGHT!

for Under the door. Subtle yet sweet!
Would these be it? Why would I have to worry about errors? I take it they're not plug and play dead simple?

I think those are for LED Reverse Lights... nothing under the door like you're talking about. I could be wrong though - maybe they're the same type of bulb?

But if you're looking for LED's, I definitely recommend F1 Autohaus' E6k Interior LED Kit.
It includes a replacment LED for every bulb in the interior, including the glove box and trunk (and the under the doors too ).

There's a bunch of reviews and pics of the kit on the forum if you search, here's a random one to check out:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ohaus+interior

I recently installed them on my car as well as my girlfriends car and they look awesome.
They're more of a pure white light, unlike a lot of the photos depict.

Garage List
What you are looking for is included in the Interior Kits. At E92 Lighting they are here:

http://www.e92-lighting.com/products...E93-366-0.html

F1 Autohaus also has a nice interior LED Kit. I'm fairly sure you can purchase only certain lights out of the kit if you don't want all the lights that are included in kit - I know I did...

I used these and they are SUPER! http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/3-Se...duct_info.html

Also put them in the footwell area. It's a complete fixture replacement and works like a charm!

Is there some DIY on it Cal? You helped me with my painted reflector order and bulbs!

Is it just pop out pop in with a screw driver? Mind you I am mechanically challenged

Yes, it's simple as can be.

1. Remove the Existing Light Fixture.
2. Pull out the Bulb.
3. Plug the LED fixture wires into Bulb socket.
4. Insert fixture into opening.
5. Enjoy SUPER BRIGHT WHITE Lighting!

HAHA should be a pretty mean game of limbo

I highly suggest the F1 Autohaus kit. I've been running it for over a year problem free. Its complete and easy to install. My old pics are of single LEDs under the doors, but since then they've upgraded the kit with a whole bunch of multidirectional LEDs. Its bright. It looks like my cars untinted at night with 35% and a black interior.

Has anybody come out with an upgrade to the LED's that are mounted in the door handles? Took mine apart the other day the wires seem to disappear down into the door they cannot be unplugged. I would love for these to be brighter.....

Unhappy Ok got my LED under door puddle lights- mixed feelings here..

No doubt they were DEAD easy to install, and they are bright as hell. However, I am not very impressed with their fitment into the door. They seem as though they could flop out with enough vibration (I already got the right door to do just that with a couple of light smacks by the bottom). Anyone have a similar experience? I definitely feel there should be a bit more plastic on the clip in side into the door underside. Now I'm paranoid they'll flop out with a good enough slam of either door.... Ugh. These were the ones from JLevistreetwerks- sorry guys :-(

Hmm, that should not be the case....

Nonetheless, easy solution- you can always wrap it with some electrical or silicone tape to get a more snug fitment...I know might not be the most elegant solution but whatever works right?

Also, have you tried bending the plastic clip slightly more so it gets a better fit? (Don't break it though!!! Be careful).

This should BY NO MEANS be taken as a bash of JLevi- they are ACE!

The lights are VERY bright, and even fade! They are everything I expected them to be, exceeding every expectation performance wise. The fit in the hole is perfect, just not snug enough and can pop out under aggressive circumstances I think. I will try your suggestion Cal. You have always been a top notch sales rep and always provide world class service and product advice. So does Derrick for that matter! Both excellent vendors to buy from with confidence
